Galena and fluorite, Blackdene Mine, Weardale

Nine lustrous modified galena crystals on a bed of lilac coloured fluorite crystals. The largest crystal measures 3cm across and the largest fluorite crystal 6cm on edge. The whole specimen is dusted with minute chalcopyrite crystals. From Blackdene Mine, Ireshopeburn, Weardale.
