Crystals of purple fluorite up to 40mm on edge partly covered by quartz crystals. Some of the fluorite crystals are doubly terminated and up to 10mm. Recovered from the 80 fathom level of Groverake Mine, Rookhope, Weardale in August 1998. Specimen width 170mm.
